This from another message board:
Democratic unity my ass. How 'bout good ole' USofA unity? Not white vs black, hispanic vs white/black, chinese, japanese, muslim, catholic, baptist or what-have-you...just good ole' what's best for the country.
Obama and his wife are black separatists. They didn't stay at that church for 20 years and not know that the people they go to church with are racists. They freaking well knew it, believed it, lived it and haven't (pardon the pun) changed colors, sides, or spots...they're just playing nice for the presidential race. I have no regard for a racist, and Obama and Michelle are racists. Period.
I have never been to a church who preaches, halleuljahs and jumps up and down for what that church gets worked up over. Boils my blood. That is not a church, it is a political forum.
AND for the record, I'm not a bummed out Hillary supporter. I'm not democratic, nor republican. Out of the three evils, she was going to be the best one. If I had my choice, we'd start from scratch and find somebody else. And, while I'm ranting, this delegate, electoral bullshit is just that. The whole system should be re-vamped to be the voice of the people, not some good ole boys in the back room.
In the interest of fairness and full disclosure I should say that this same poster has argued that slaves were happy and well fed/taken care of. So obviously she's bright, well spoken and knows about history and culture. Also, it would surprise me to learn she was registered to vote.
In my administration I'll make sure that she gets TWO sticks of dynamite, just in case.
I notice that it's normally people who are afraid of anyone who isn't like them who are the loudest supporters of uniting the country beyond color or creed. I can't blame them, it's worked out really well for them historically. White people stay in power, hire their white friends, enough "minorities" to fill the quota and everyone gets to feel good about themselves for their truly progressive attitudes.
In one of his stand up shows Chris Rock explains the difference between being rich and having wealth. "Shaq is rich, The white man that signs his check is wealthy.'' It's like that with power and equality as well. We're all perfectly equal until a black man threatens the status quo by daring to become the most powerful man on the planet. Then rednecks with "black best friends" everywhere are looking at eachother uncomfortably...
